JUST DANCE

Helloooooo Mommies again!!! I am soooo happy that every week I get more and more page views!! Its so exciting to see the growth and hopefully I can reach to more and more mommies every week!! All of your support is greatly appreciated!!! If you have any questions please feel free to contact me via email (mommagamers@gmail.com) Facebook: Mommy Game Reviews or even on here by commenting below a post!!!

Soooo to continue I promised you I would review a fun game for your kids to enjoy!! That game would be JUST DANCE!!! The whole point of the game is directly what its title is!! To just dance!!!  This game is definitely great to play with your little ones. I would definitely say at least ages 5 and up, this would be perfect. Even if your little one cant copy the moves exactly as they show up on the screen I promise you that you will have so much fun dancing with your kids!! I know I do!!

This game and the rest of the series comes with tons of different songs to dance to some older and some of today's pop hits so no matter what there should be something that you and your kiddies can boogie to!! This game is available for the Nintendo Wii and Xbox with Kinect!! I know your probably saying "Finally not a mobile game!" I promise you that you will have so much fun dancing the night away with your family

Kid Concerns:
The only concern is if you start boogieing too close to each other and accidentally hit each other. This game has different difficulty songs so you can make it easier for your kids to follow along with you. Nothing but a blast of fun!!!

DEER HUNTER 2014

Hello Hello To all my mommies!!! If you haven't noticed I have made a Facebook page where I would really appreciate if you would all please like me on Facebook and tell your wonderful mommy friends about the blog too!!! Please if you like my blog share it to the world so that all the mommies can get this information!! I just want to thank you all for your continued support and making my blog grow more and more every week!!

Onto video games now. This week I am bringing you a game called Deer Hunter. This game is available for any type of mobile devices like smart phones, tablets etc. For various reason I would definitely say this game isn't for young children. The game is a simulation of what hunting is like. For each level you must buy better parts for your gun, including ammunition, stability etc., and at each level the challenge gets harder. You are faced with challenges such as perfecting a heart shot or lung shot. Along with harder goals the animals become more aggressive at each level eventually attacking you if you dont kill them in time. For each kill you get a set amount of money and get bonuses if they are rare kill or heart and lung kills.

Kid Concerns:
I don't feel this game is very appropriate for children under the age of fourteen. This game promotes violence and animal cruelty. As I'm sure many parents will be concerned with the use of guns and artillery in this game, I too am concerned. There have been too many unspeakable tragedies due to gun involvement and children should not be exposed to something so horrible. Along with the use of weapons in the game there is animal cruelty occurring. With each shot an animal is potentially hurt. What is this teaching out kids? That its okay to kill? I do not agree. Exposing this to our children can confuse them to thinking its okay.

Please mommies watch out for this game if you let your children play at a young age!! For my next review I will talk about a happier game!!

DON'T TAP THE WHITE TILE 4

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RbE-Qp-9edA

Hello again my wonderful mommy followers!!!  So I am more than positive you've heard about the newest game available on all mobile devices Don't Tap The White Tiles but I am going to talk about it if you haven't!!

Basically this is the best time killer game that you would have ever downloaded for your kids. Its perfect for car rides, doctor appointments, shopping trips, and almost anything else you can think of. This game is very addicting, always making you wanting to beat you high score!!

Well enough of me boring you blabbering. This game has a very simple goal: DON'T TAP THE WHITE TILES!! There are different modes you can play on so no matter what your kiddies will always have a challenge if they get bored with one mode. In the newest update you can even change the color of the black tiles. In my kids opinion they're favorite mode to play in is arcade. In this mode you start of at a somewhat slow pace and as time continues the tiles being to fly on by!!!

Kid Concerns:
The only concern is that your kids will get easily addicted. Mine have and it begins getting difficult to get their full attention. Its a great game to pass time and keep your kids occupied if you need them to keep busy. Don't forget this though mommies, you can play too!!!

Have a great week mommies!! Till next week, Mommy out!!!

CARROCRACIA 2006 PEDRO PEDRAZA

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jEFEUBkPQwo

Hello to all the beautiful mommies on today!!! I hope you are all off to a great start of your week and that you hopefully enjoyed playing Heads Up! with your kiddies!!! For this weeks boring/bad game for our kids is one called Carrocracia released in 2006 by Pedro Pedraza.

This game mommies is, well, I don't even know how to put this nicely. It sucks. Carrocracia is Portuguese for "car crash". Well this is another pointless game. You are the little green character and have no choice but to walk around wherever there is purple and if you try going into the cars you die. The only other option that you have is to go into the little car shop in the left hand lower corner and try to and buy a car. When yo go and walk around and meet the little characters at the top of the page you are asked if you want to buy a car and only have two options(which are the same) Yes and yes, if you want to buy a car or not. Either choice gives you the same result. That you lose.

Kid Concerns:
Well first off I definitely would'nt introduce this game to my kids. There is some concern with the fact that you get into a car accident if you try walking into the cars. Let's all be honest why is this even a video game. I wouldn't be able to tell you an intended audience but it definitely isn't for children.

But no worries Mommies!!!! In my next post I will talk about a game that your kids wont be able to put down!!!

Mommy not out yet!!! Stay tuned!!!

HEADS UP!

Hello again Mommies!!!! So I was really getting depressed of only telling you about games that were boring or that your kids should stay away from so I wanted to share this awesome game that my family loves to play!!!

This game is Heads Up! created by Ellen Degeneres in May 2013. It is the perfect game for family night with your kids!!! This game is available only through the App Store, which limits the game to iPhones, iPads, and iTouches. This game is a play on charades. The basic game cards you can select from include categories: Superstars, Act It Out, Animals Gone Wild, Blockbuster Movies, Icons Movies and Stars, Accents and Impressions, Hey Mr. DJ and Just For Kids. The idea of the game is to act out and try to let the other person guess what the word or phrase is that is on their card.

For the purpose of the blog I will stick to the ones that are more targeted o our children which include  Act it Out, Animals Gone Wild, and Just For Kids. Whenever we have a family night we always bring out the iPad to enjoy our time together. The boys love trying to guess what their mommy and daddy are acting out but they love acting it out themselves even more!!!

Kid Concerns:
On some of the other game card decks there will be words, phrases, and people that our kids most likely wont know. So as long as they stick to the simpler games decks they will be just fine!! Not only is this game great for family night but great for car rides as well!! It keeps the kids entertained and also brings a new challenge of not being able to move around and limits them to sitting in their seat!!

My family really enjoys this game and I hope yours will too!!! I'll add a video of the game!!!

PAPER"S PLEASE

Hello Mommies!!!!

I hope you are all having a wonderful day spent with your beautiful kids!!!

For this blog post I wanted to warn you of a game that I think is inappropriate for our younger children. This game is called Paper's Please. This game was released on August 8, 2013 for Microsoft and created by Lucas Pope.

If you have young children playing on your computers I would highly advise keeping them away from this game. The game takes place in a country where you are an immigration officer that controls who can and cannot enter your country. You have to check for specific documents and inconsistencies on them. There are many disturbing things that are introduced on this game. For example there are explicit things such as suicide bombers, people that pass through with weapons on them, even exposure to transgender individuals. The overall purpose of this game is to correctly deny or allow people into your country. If you get it correct then you get money which helps with various necessities such as food, rent, heat etc. As you continue on with the game you have to check for more and more papers making it difficult to deny or allow people quickly. You are given three chances if you let people in who are a potential threat to the country and your pay check is deducted each time. Once you used your three chances you lose your job. I will leave a link to the game trailer for all you mommies to be aware of this game if you see it!!!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QP5X6fcukM

Kid Concerns:
This is definitely not a game for children under the age of at least fourteen. They should not be exposed to such dangers and violence. This game is filled with nudity, profanity, violence and any parent should not let their children play such a vulgar game. Please Mommies keep your children away from this game! Our children shouldn't be exposed to the dangers our world faces at such a young age!!.

On a more positive note, I hope you all have a safe evening and enjoy this beautiful day!!

SUPER MARIO BROS (NINTENDO 1985)

Hi Mommies!!
For out first video game review I wanted to do something original. Something almost everyone has heard of. Yes that's right! SUPER MARIO BROS!!!

I played the online version of the game and got to level two! Yes I know I am not very good but I did watch some YouTube play through's to get a better idea of what the rest of the game is all about!! I feel that the best ages to introduce this to your kids is about 8 years old. Not to young because of the mild violence this game does have but also for them to be old enough to get the idea of how to play the game without becoming frustrated every time they die.

The overall synopsis of the game is you start off as a small Italian plumber that is trying to get through this strange world of bricks and pipes and get to the flag at the end of the course. As you continually playing a clock in the left hand corner slowly begins to tick away. As your little Italian plumber Mario moves forward some of the bricks contain prizes such as a growth, money or nothing at all. Along the way there are tons of coins you can collect to better your score. There are also these little creatures and turtles that can harm you along the way if you touch them; if you jump on them they die and your score is increased. The overall purpose of the game is to make it the castle and save the princess.

This game can be found on almost any device. From Nintendo DS, to Play Station and many more devices. This is one universal game that can be played on any device your child has!!

Kid Concerns:
This video game shows some concern for animal cruelty, the destruction of our environment and killing others, but it is not explicitly stated in the game. Your children may just interpret it as boosting their score and getting away from the bad guys. I don't think it's anything to be super concerned about but I know every parent has their own way of raising their children. Overall a great classic game for your not only your children but your entire family!!

I've included a link to the video game play through so that you can see in further detail if you wish!!

Have a wonderful day!!
